Fear Not

I got a moleskin sketchbook about a year ago from my mom for my birthday. The sketchbook is nice, maybe a little too nice. It is a little intimidating to draw in, in fear that the drawing may degrade the sketchbook. Well last weekend I overcame that fear and put pencil to paper and this was the result. I feel safe to say that the sketchbook has now increase in value having had drawn in it. Moral: fear not!

Jamin, this is really nice. I got some Moleskine books in NY and am on #2 right now. I LOVE the way it takes graphite, and its fun to feel the tip of your pen just glide across its slick pages. You'd think I'm in love with it or something.

I have exactly the same thing. I had an old notebook that I used for sketches, notes etc.. It fell apart and I bought my first moleskine. Now I only use it sparingly. And it's not that a moleskine is worth its' weight in gold....Just draw!
Cheers,
Arco

I have since drawn twice more in my moleskin. I'm not sure if they are post worthy, but I am beginning to feel a lot more comfortable with drawing in it. Thanks to all for you comments. I sure do appreciate them.
