The Hudson River School of Landscape Painting


It is official, I've been accepted into the Hudson River School of Landscape Painting. It is a 6 week intensive landscape painting workshop in the Catskill region of New York. The instructors will be Jacob Collins, Nicholas Hiltner, Edward Minoff, and Travis Schlaht. Aside from having amazing instructors tuition and housing are provided for at no cost. Can't wait to see what you do there. I've decided this week to start trying out the process that Collins lays out on that website, so far it's been really interesting. I'm heading for that area soonish myself to attend the NYAA in the Fall.

hokey smokes!!!! congrats man congrats. what an opportunity. for goodness sakes, keep a diary,a voice tape, something to document what it is like for us goons that are on the outside looking in. I am so happy for you. And can't wait to hear progress reports or a final brain dump when it is all over.
